South Beach Trading Inc. was launched in 1995 by our company's founding owner and president, and current Director, Jim Honeysett. Through Jim's stewardship over the last two decades, South Beach Trading has steadily grown into one of the building industry's foremost suppliers of wholesale lumber and building products.
In 2005, South Beach Trading significantly expanded its specialty and commodity lumber trading group; in 2009, Tyee Timber Products Ltd., specializing in cedar and specialty lumber products was added under the SBT umbrella.
Today, South Beach Trading Inc. continues its strong growth under the leadership of our current president, Steve Parkinson. SBT has over a dozen wholesale lumber traders that provide products and services throughout North America, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, South America, and anywhere in the world that uses wood products.
